CATCHPRO ACADEMY

Inherent physical risk

Baseball, softball, catching, throwing, hitting, strength, mobility, and athletic training involve inherent physical risks. These may include contact with balls, bats, equipment, people, or the ground; repetitive-use stress; strains; sprains; and other injury.

Readiness and pain

Athletes should participate only when medically able and should stop immediately if they experience pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath, or another concerning symptom. Training instruction does not replace evaluation or treatment from a qualified medical professional.

Minors

A parent or legal guardian must approve participation for a minor and complete the final legally reviewed waiver required by the academy or facility.

Waiver required before use

This webpage is not a completed release of liability and should not be used as the participation agreement. Legal counsel must prepare or approve the final waiver, informed-consent language, emergency terms, signature process, and record-retention procedure before training begins.
